Institute of Banking
Personnel Selection (IBPS) released notification
for Common Written Examination for the employment of Specialist Officers 2013.IBPS
conducts every year CWE and issues a score card
which will be a pre-requisite qualification for being selected as an employee
in 20 nationalized banks. This year 2013 the examination will be held in March
and the score will be valid up to April 2014. Details of this notification can

Candidates who could
score a valid score in IBPS CWE 2013 for Specialist officers will be eligible for
personal interviews or group discussions when a bank releases Employment
Notification for Specialist Officers. IBPS conducts specialist officer’s common
written examination for the posts officers inScale-1 i.e. I.T Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari,
law Officer, Technical Officer, HR / Personnel Officer, Marketing Officer and
Officers in Scale-2 i.e. I.T. Officer, Law Officer, Chartered Accountant and
Finance Executive.

Eligibility for posts in scale-1
I.T Officer
Age should be between 20
to 35 years
Qualifications: Computer Science/ Information
Technology/Computer Applications/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/
Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR P.G. Degree in Electronics/ Electronics &
Communication/Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics &
Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ IT / Computer Applications from a recognized
University / Institution OR Graduation + DOEACC ‘B’ level certificate.
Agricultural Field
Officer
Age limit is 20 to 35
years
Qualifications: Graduation from recognized university in
Agriculture or allied specialisations such as Horticulture / Animal Husbandry/
Dairy Science/ Agricultural Engineering / Fishery Science / Veterinary Science
/ Pisciculture / Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation/ Forestry etc.
Rajbhasha Adhikari
Age limit is 20 to 35
years
Qualifications: P.G.
Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR a post
graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree
level.
Law Officer
Age limit is 20 to 35
years
Qualifications: LLB
Technical Officer
Age limit is 20 to 35
years
Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech in any of the disciplines
i.e. Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/
Computer Science /Information Technology / Production/ Metallurgy/
Textile / Chemical etc./ B.Pharmacy
HR / Personnel Officer
Age limit is 20 to 35
years
Qualifications: Graduation / Post Graduation or P.G.
Diploma in Industrial Relations / Personnel Management / HRD /Social Work /
Labour Law OR Degree / Diploma in Business Administration/ Management with
specialization in HRD.
Marketing Officer
Age limit is 20 to 35
years
Qualifications: MBA (Marketing) / PGDBA / PGDBM or any other equivalent
degree or diploma with specialization in Marketing.
Eligibility for posts in scale-2
I T Officer
Age limit is 21 to 40
years
Qualifications: same as I.T. Officer scale-1 but these
posts require 1 year experience in any bank or financial institution.
Law Officer
Age limit is 21 to 40
years
Qualifications: same as Law Officer scale-1 but these
posts require 3 years experience in a Bar /Judicial Service or as a law officer in any bank or financial
institution / Central / State Government / PSU.
Chartered Accountant
Age limit is 21 to 35
years
Qualifications: C.A Final
Finance Executive
Age limit is 25 to 35
years
Qualifications: MBA/PGDBM (Finance) with 3 years
experience in any bank or financial institution.
